The Networking Area is the social backbone of bio:cap, stretching between the Startup Area and the Scientific Area - built for both spontaneous meetups and targeted 1:1s. The bio:cap app keeps it seamless with smart profiles, meeting requests, availability slots, QR swaps, and wayfinding. With our signature zones and headline events, you’ll hit high-impact touchpoints from morning to midnight:
- Tower & Plaza – Our fully brandable landmark echoing Berlin’s Fernsehturm, anchors the show. Over 1oo m² open, circular plaza with standing tables enables multiple simultaneous conversations.
- Partnering Zone – Curated, pre-booked 1:1s in private meeting pods for focused founder–investor–industry talks. Access via the matchmaking tool in our bio:cap app.
- Capital Zone – A dedicated enclave for VCs, CVCs, family offices, PE and other capital providers. Access is curated: open to listed capital players; others by invitation only.
- Späti - Late-Night Shop – Berlin Kiez vibes in the Startup Area. A “Späti” booth plus a pitch stage for short founder spotlights, supported by a dedicated tech desk.
